　　The Pharmacy Technician 2 assist the pharmacist in process prescriptions, inventory control and customer service. This is a customer facing role located within a clinic.

　　Location: Onsite Gastonia, NC

　　Hours: This is a part time role with the potential for hours to expand as the pharmacy business grows. Periodic c overage for other technicians on PTO could also result in a need for additional hours. The current need is for a total of 8 hours per week over 2 half days- likely Monday and Friday of each week from 1PM-5PM.

　　The Pharmacy Technician:

　　Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.

　　Assists Pharmacist in ordering and restocking of drugs.

　　Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.

　　Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.

　　May operate a cash register.

　　Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards.

　　Follows standard policies/practices.

　　​Required Qualifications

　　Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy

　　Pharmacy Technician experience that includes experience working in a retail setting

　　This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/CenterWell's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
