　　This position is per diem (as needed). Employees are required to have flexibility to work per diem hours between 07:00AM – 06:00PM CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2200 E Parrish Ave Owensboro, KY 42303.

　　We offer 8 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 08:00AM – 04:30PM CST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs.

　　May communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure availability of facilities and staff.

　　Communicates with patients and/or their families to provide necessary pre-procedure instructions and/or to confirm appointments.

　　Performs insurance verification and/or pre-authorizations as necessary.

　　May be responsible for managing the referral work queue, entering patient demographic information, and scanning documents into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

　　May correspond with referring providers and/or patients for reports, information exchange, scheduling, x-rays, and paperwork.

　　May provide administrative support for Physicians or Nurse Practitioners.

　　The pace is fast, so your ability to multi-task is essential. You should also enjoy working with people and have the communication skills necessary to build strong relationships with our customers.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma / GED

　　Must be 18 years of age OR older

　　Ability to train onsite for the first 8 weeks (full time) between Monday – Friday, 08:00AM – 04:30PM CST.

　　Ability to work per diem hours between 07:00AM – 06:00PM CST

　　Ability to work onsite at 2200 E Parrish Ave Owensboro, KY 42303

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　1+ years of customer service experience

　　1+ years of related work experience, including data entry

　　ICD 9 or 10 and CPT coding experience

　　Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
