　　Location : 3743 Landmark Drive Lafayette, IN

　　Schedule : Monday - Friday hours will range from 7:30am-5:00pm / No evenings, weekends, or holidays!

　　Specialty : Family Medicine

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment

　　Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s

　　Administer injections and collect specimens

　　Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software

　　Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork

　　Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Graduated from an accredited MA program

　　Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or you must be willing to attain that certification within 180 days of start date

　　CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　EMR/EHR experience

　　Experience with NextGen medical records software

　　Experience with medical front office and back-office duties including vitals, phlebotomy, injections, casting/splinting, administering medications, referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications
