POSITION: Peer Support Specialist

　　REQUIREMENTS:- HS diploma/GED & lived experience with substance use disorder required- Drivers License- Moderate level computer skills- No involvement in the criminal Justice system in the last 10 years

　　PREFERRED SKILLS:- Peer Support Certification

　　DUTIES:- Develop a support relationship with clients focused on the development of ahealthy balanced lifestyle.- Provide information about treatment options and resources, provideencouragement, give presentations, & assist members in developing care plan- Use your own lived experience and training to assist the development ofrecovery goals, skills, and knowledge needed for the lifestyle balance- Assist with transportation to and from appointments- Help clients obtain services and support to develop independence in thecommunity.- On call support for clients to help reduce or avoid crisis situations

　　WAGE: $16.50 - $20.50

　　DAYS AND HOURS:- Part time and full time positions available- All positions require some on-call time

　　JOB SITE:- Grand Junction- Time will be divided between office, community, and remote work.
