　　We are currently hiring a Peer Advocate, to work in our Herkimer County office. As the Peer Advocate, you would be responsible for:

　　Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, trauma informed care, family systems and recovery community.

　　Engage and empower individuals to obtain and maintain sobriety

　　Provide substance abuse intervention services utilizing evidence-based practices and programs.

　　Arrange schedule and conduct peer support recovery meetings/groups.

　　Help individuals develop, maintain and self-monitor Recovery Plans.

　　Peer Advocate Minimum Salary: $15.93

　　Peer Advocate Maximum Salary: $16.51

　　Peer Advocate Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours range from 9:00am-7:30pm

　　Qualifications:

　　2 year/ Associate Degree List field of study: Human Services or similar

　　3-5 years of related experience

　　Communication skills (verbal and written)
