Description We are looking for a competent PC Technician to join our team based in Houston, Texas. This role involves working with computer systems and networks, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This short term contract employment opportunity is best suited for individuals adept at working with a variety of technologies, including Computer Hardware, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, AB Testing, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, and Cable Installation.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for users

• Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals

• Conduct regular maintenance and updates on systems to ensure functionality

• Install and manage physical network infrastructure including cables

• Provide support for a variety of Apple devices

• Create backup strategies for data protection and recovery

• Manage active directory services for user and resource management

• Implement AB testing methodologies to improve system functionality

• Work with Dell and Linux technologies to optimize system performance

• Maintain an up-to-date database of all systems and network issues and resolutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Familiarity with Database management and operations

• Experience with Dell Technologies, including servers, storage, and networking

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems, including operation and maintenance

• Proficiency in Linux Technologies, including system administration and shell scripting

• Experience with AB Testing methodologies and best practices

• Knowledge of Active Directory, including user and group management, and policy configuration

• Familiarity with Apple Devices, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Experience with Backup Technologies, including data backup and recovery strategies
