The PC and LAN Analyst provides technical support to business area management and employees for personal computer systems software, hardware, and network connectivit. Responsible for installing, configuring and troubleshooting desktop systesm, workstations and network connectivity issues. Accountable for assest management of the information technology hardward and may assign and maintain user passwords for specialized softward.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
Provides desktop support to end-users and Shop Floor equipment
Procure and deploy new equipment as required per business needs
Performs scheduled security reviews of Active Directory groups and permissions
Supports the Networking group by providing local support including Level 1 and 2 troubleshooting of network or cable patching
Performs installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks
May have expertise in commonly used business applications
May also handle phone and email assistance as well
Conducts tasks and assignments as directed
Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgement
Qualifications & Experience:
AS or BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology
Network Certifications
One or more years supporting a 7x24 Shop Floor operation
One or more years experience supporting PC Deployments of Windows Operation Systems including troubleshooting, deployments, rebuilds, and patch management
One or more years experience supporting and managing Active Directory deployments
One or more years experience with configuration management of equipment and procurement of equipment
Or one or more years as Level 1/2 Network Analyst
As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $55,000 - $85,000.
