Description

A company in the fashion industry is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team! In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks related to payroll processing and record keeping. This includes using software applications such as ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing, maintaining accurate employee records, and executing payroll tasks from initiation to submission. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now software to process payroll

• Ensure accurate processing of payroll for both hourly and salary employees

• Oversee the entire payroll process, from the initial stages to final submissions

• Use Microsoft Excel to generate and manage reports related to payroll

• Handle timecard management through ADP Workforce Now

• Resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner

• Collaborate with the Senior Payroll Manager to ensure smooth payroll operations

• Handle various payroll modules such as onboarding and wage/garnishments

• Process payroll for a significant number of employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Maintain and update customer credit records as necessary.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce

• Skilled in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with About Time software

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
