This is achieved by setting up and maintaining appropriatepolicies, standard office operating procedures, and applyinginternational, federal, state, and local payroll tax regulatoryrequirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. Implement, maintain, and review payroll processingsystems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactionsincluding salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Manage the U.S-based Payroll Team in the completion of assigned payrolls(currently U.S., Canada and Australia). Ensure accurate and timelyprocessing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, andchanges to pay rates. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reportsof payroll transactions. Ensure that payrolls are processed in a timelymanner, and they run successfully adhering to established regulatoryrequirements and laws, including tax and labor laws. Set up and maintainappropriate policies, standard office operating procedures that adhereto international, federal, state, and local payroll tax regulatoryrequirements. Facilitate audits by providing records and documentationto auditors. Identify and recommend updates to payroll processingsoftware, systems, and procedures. Collaborate with HR team to ensurecompliance with established HR policies. Keep staff informed of changesto payroll policies, regulations, and procedures, and their effect andimplementation. Interact with Accounting/Finance as required to ensurearea receives accurate data as required in a timely manner as well aswell as ensures alignment between the functional areas. Support duediligence efforts for potential acquisitions and participate inintegration activities related to onboarding acquired Team members.Identify areas of payroll processing for improvement and generate waysof addressing and settling issues. Ensure/elevating a top-tier Customerexperience. Research opportunities for worldwide data sharing or systemintegrations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor\'s degree inaccounting, business administration, human resources, or related field.3 - 5 years\' experience with payroll required. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLREQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Extensive knowledgeof the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internalcontrol, and payroll taxes.
