Description

We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team based in MATTESON, Illinois, United States. The role primarily involves managing payroll processes for a workforce of over 600 employees across multiple states. It also requires maintaining accurate employee records, facilitating effective communication with various personnel, and performing other administrative tasks related to payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Execute payroll processes for employees in multiple states

• Assist in administrative tasks such as keeping up-to-date associate profiles and managing payroll workflows

• Maintain open and detail-oriented communication with store managers, department heads, and other store personnel

• Conduct regular reviews and reconciliation to ensure data integrity between Kronos HR/PR systems

• Apply state laws accurately, considering states reciprocal agreements

• Prepare reports on a bi-weekly and monthly basis

• Stay updated with the latest tools on the platform

• Import and export payroll data as necessary

• Reconcile payroll hours accurately

• Perform other duties as assigned related to the payroll function.

The salary range for this position is $22/hr. to $24/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Position: Payroll Clerk

• Required years of experience: 2+ in the relevant field

• Proficiency in Kronos payroll software is mandatory

• Experience with Multi-state Payroll is necessary

• Familiarity with Multistate Payroll processing is a must

• Ability to handle Payroll for over 500 Employees is required
