Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in MOON TWP, Pennsylvania, 15108-9373, United States. This role involves managing and calculating payroll, maintaining precise records and addressing queries from employees.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately calculating worker's compensation based on factors such as hours worked, salary, bonus, and commission.

• Processing garnishments and making necessary adjustments.

• Calculating and handling payroll taxes and expenses.

• Supervising the process of payroll under the guidance of the Payroll Manager or Supervisor.

• Maintaining accurate records of employee payroll and ensuring timely updates.

• Efficiently handling employee inquiries related to payroll.

• Managing and updating templates related to payroll processes.

• Ensuring the correct computation and distribution of bonuses.

• Implementing and managing salary structures.

• Dealing with replacements in the payroll system as required.

• Overseeing the commission functions and ensuring correct application in payroll calculations.

• Managing expense reporting related to payroll. Requirements • Proficiency in payroll processes and systems

• Experience in supervising and coordinating payroll activities

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with 'About Time' software

• Ability to manage expense reporting and financial adjustments

• Understanding of commission functions within a wholesale distribution setting

• Experience in creating and managing templates for payroll processes

• Familiarity with different salary structures and their implementation

• Capability to handle replacement payroll activities during staff absences

• Experience in managing bonus programs within a payroll context

• Expertise in handling garnishments and ensuring legal compliance

• Understanding of worker's compensation and its impact on payroll.
