Description Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Clerk, who will have the opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing team! In this role, you will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is based in the Owings Mills, Maryland area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment role.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

　　Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets

　　File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required

　　Build and run custom reports

　　Distribute and administer reports as instructed

　　Be the main point of instruction/training contact to employees regarding payroll-related best practices

　　Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system Requirements - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

　　Comprehensive knowledge of ADP Online

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

　　bi-Monthly Payroll experience preferred

　　Proficiency in Payroll Taxes

　　Ability to easily learn new systems

　　2+ years of previous payroll experience

　　Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

　　Payroll software experience is a plus

　　Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

　　High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
