JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Are Hiring:Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuroscience -1.0 FTE Schedule Details: Day shift hours. No holidays, weekends ornights. This position is in our Neurology department of Neuroscience.The Department operates two service locations, one on the WaukeshaMemorial Hospital Campus and one at the Outpatient Physician\'s Centerin Oconomowoc. These two locations combine to complete 400 to 500outpatient visits monthly. Specialty services include medical painmanagement, pain psychology, stroke follow up clinic, Multiple Sclerosisclinic, and concussion/brain injury clinic. The department has 2physiatrists, 2 psychologists, 2 advanced practice nurse prescribers, 5registered nurses and 4 clerical staff. In addition, neurosurgeons,neurologists and other medical specialists see patients within theclinics. What You Will Do: The Clinical Nurseis a competent practitionerwho integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in thecare of patients and families. Care is delivered using a deliberate,systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing awareness ofpatterns of patient responses in recurrent situations. These nursesdemonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to viewclinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provideprofessional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required bystaffing matrices. These nurses also supervise and direct delegatednursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstratedabilities of the person supervised. What You Will Need: Associate\'sDegree in Nursing required. Bachelor\'s Degree is preferred WisconsinRegistered Nurse License Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
