About Payroll Administrator

  Job Description:

  Position: Payroll Administrator

  Location: Devens, MA

  Duration: 12 months (temporary role with ability to extend or be directly hired)

  Pay Rate: $35--$40 per hour (based on knowledge, skills, experience)

  Start Date: as soon as possible or until filled

  Post labor weekly after confirming all timesheets are complete

  Work with Northrop Grumman payroll to process the payroll every other week. This involves supplying various reports and files and then verifying accuracy

  Enter and update employee information in Adaptive Optics Associates accounting system, Costpoint

  Responsible for the weekly PTO accrual in the timesheet system

  Timesheet and labor training for new employees.

  Prepare and process journal entries

  Other misc. reporting, analysis and/or inquiries

  performs other duties and special projects as assigned

  Requirements:

  2-5 years experience

  Associates / Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

  Knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly excel and word)
