Description:
• Responsibilities - Candidates will be on the phones 100% of the day, fielding anywhere from 250-500 calls from patients needing to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments. Providers will call in occasionally with referrals, but that’s only occasionally. THIS IS A TRUE CALL CENTER ENVIRONMENT: 7 employees in a single room, working from cubicles, receiving 300-500 calls per day plus referrals, and generally on the phone at all times.
• Performance Measurements (How will the consultant’s performance be measured?):
o Efficiency in handling call volume and scheduling patients
o Patient and Provider reviews/feedback
• Qualifications (What specific experience, years’ experience, skills, software proficiencies are you seeking in candidates? What would best case scenario vs second-best look like in candidates?):
o 2 years’ experience as a PSA or Medical Secretary required
o Previous EPIC experience preferred, but not required
o Strong communication, customer service, and organization required
