　　Who We Need:

　　Tellers are the face of M&T within our branches. Our customers enter with needs and leave feeling like we have their backs. As a Teller with M&T bank, you’ll be an important member of our branch team as we build relationships with customers, process their transactions, and help them understand options available to them.

　　We’ll provide on-the-job training in teller skills. If you’re reliable, friendly, and ready to deliver excellent customer service, we’re ready for you. !

　　Your Typical Day:

　　Welcome all bank visitors with a warm and friendly smile

　　Listen to customers and understand their needs

　　Educate customers on products and services available to them

　　Accurately and efficiently process teller transactions

　　Support operational needs such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfer, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and compliance-related tasks

　　Support a diverse environment that supports the M&T Bank brand

　　Complete other related duties as assigned

　　Education and Experience Required:

　　High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

　　Minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including either cash handling or data entry experience

　　Education and Experience Preferred:

　　Professional communication skills and interpersonal skills

　　Retail customer services skills

　　Strong organizational and time management skills

　　Technology savvy

　　Bilingual ability is not required but is a strong plus depending on location
