　　Your Responsibilities

　　The Manufacturing Emerging Technologies team is hiring a Part-Time Student to facilitate work done in our manufacturing and digital capabilities lab. Our team prospects, develops, and deploys disrupting emerging technologies that impact and improve manufacturing at John Deere. As part of your work, you will be responsible for executing on a range of design activities including:

　　Work to implement new and existing solutions mechanical and electrical in nature within digital capabilities lab at Moline Tech & Innovation Center.

　　Focus areas of support include Factory Automation tasks, robotics, cyber security.

　　Provide basic support and trouble shooting for operations, maintenance tasks, CAD work, etc.

　　Lab technician tasks and lab tours.

　　This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

　　What Skills You Need

　　Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, industrial, robotics engineering, or related discipline; others may apply.

　　Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited college/university.

　　Graduation date of May 2025 or later.

　　Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

　　Available to work during the academic year 10-20 hours/weekly.

　　Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.

　　Must be able to commute to the work location in Moline, Illinois, on a daily basis year-round.

　　Ability and willingness to work within a diverse, global team.

　　Experience in a manufacturing environment.

　　Familiarity with digital tools such as software programming, robotic programming, AutoCAD, etc.

　　Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

　　High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
