　　The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

　　Your Responsibilities

　　As a Part-Time Student for Deere & Company JDTIC located in Champaign, IL , you will:

　　Build the observability platform and tooling that teams around the enterprise will use

　　Practice good software development practices and DevOps

　　Pair with team members to deliver value

　　Practice Agile delivery methods

　　This position is not available to students on immigration visas

　　What Skills You Need

　　Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in a Technical discipline; others may apply

　　Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university

　　Graduation date of May 2024 or later

　　Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

　　Available to work during the academic year 10-30 hours/weekly

　　Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly

　　Must be able to commute to the work location in Champaign, Illinois, on an as needed basis year-round (NOTE: Relocation assistance is not provided.)

　　What Makes You Stand Out

　　Minor experience as a developer writing code for various applications

　　Minor experience using DevOps or eXtreme Programming practices as part of development

　　Minor experience in using/building observability around your applications

　　Minor experience using cloud solution providers (like AWS, Azure, etc) to host your application and services

　　Minor experience with consuming and writing APIs

　　Experience with different DevOps type of tooling (Ex: Drone, Github & Github Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Black duck, Artifactory, Sonar, Linting Tools, etc.)

　　Experience with different languages (Ex: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, Scala, etc)

　　Experience using containers for orchestration of servers (Ex: Docker, ECS/K8s, etc)
