UC's annual budget tops $1.65 billion and its endowment totals $1.8 billion.Job OverviewThe College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, is currently accepting applications for a part time (50% FTE) Research Coordinator, to plan, evaluate, and coordinate research projects for the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center grant. The faculty of the Division of Infectious Diseases is among the national leaders in basic science research in infectious diseases, the care of patients with HIV infections, tuberculosis and global health clinical care, education and research.The position is located at The Holmes Building, 200 Albert Sabin Way, Cincinnati, OH 45220. The position will offer flexibility for a hybrid remote schedule for applicants with a residence within OH/IN/KY once training is complete. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.Essential FunctionsAssists with the day-to-day operations management for the program and related projects, communicates with regional AETC administration, coordinates and provides local training programs, and communicates with the University of Cincinnati administrative infrastructure.Responsible for the completion of work, goals and objectives for MATEC projects such as CORE and MAI trainings, and EHE, and collection of data for these programs, submission of data forms, completion of needs assessment, and collection of outcome data.Responsible, along with the program director, for the educational programs for HIV professionals deliverable in the contract with the Ohio Department of Health.Responsible for communicating with and the UC College of Social Work Instructional Design team regarding work for the MATEC office.Attends and participates in conference calls and meetings. Facilitates projects and quality work, committees and other forums at the local level.Completes continuing education and training programs as assigned on continual basis, in addition to continuing education required for licensure renewal.Perform other related duties based on departmental and grant need.
