Position Overview: The Service Coordinator/Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily service operations for our clients' generators and emergency power equipment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of service logistics. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce and client base.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule service technicians for maintenance, repairs, and emergency calls for generators and associated power equipment.

Communicate with clients to schedule service appointments, confirm service details, and address any concerns.

Monitor and track the status of service requests and technician assignments, adjusting schedules and resources as needed.

Maintain accurate records of service activities, equipment maintenance, and client interactions.

Resolve any issues or delays that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

Assist in managing and maintaining service equipment and vehicle logs.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and ensure all service requests are handled promptly and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.

Perform other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, service management, or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in a dispatch or service coordinator role, preferably within the power equipment or similar industry.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of generator and emergency power equipment maintenance is a plus.
