During the autumn, winter, and spring quarters of the 2023-24 academicyear, the Humanities Collegiate Division and the Department of RomanceLanguages & Literatures will have part-time teaching opportunities forvarious courses of the French and Francophone literature and culturecurriculum.
Minimum qualifications are a master\'s degree or equivalent in French ora related field, superior proficiency in French according to ACTFLguidelines, and at least one year of experience teaching French languageand/or literature at the college or post-secondary level. Preferencewill be given to applicants currently completing a Ph.D., or who havecompleted a Ph.D. in French or a related field.
Responsibilities will include preparing and teaching seminar-styleundergraduate literature courses on any period or genre of literature inFrench, holding regularly scheduled office hours, and the preparing andgrading of assignments and assessments.
Depending on the curricular needs of the department, the successfulcandidate may teach between one and four courses per academic year. In2023-24, the minimum per-course salary is \$7,538. This position is notbenefits eligible.
