Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Recreational Therapist to work at a facility in Crescent City , California . These are registry positions with our company.

　　Area: Mental Health OT-8HR Class: RECT Shift: 1 Start: 07:00:00 End: 15:30:00CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON (NCTRC) OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION (CBRPC)

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assess patient needs

　　Consider medical records

　　Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones

　　Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most

　　Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients

　　Document a patient's progress during their activities

　　Other duties assigned my supervisor

　　Requirements :

　　Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist

　　Ability to build rapport with patients

　　Compassionate and caring demeanor

　　Familiarity with medical terminology

　　A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
