GREAT OPPORTUNITY WITH A MARITIME INDUSTRY LEADER

　　Karl Senner, LLC is seeking an experience parts procurement specialist to add to our team.This role is responsible for procurement of quality items at competitive prices. To be successful in this role you'll need to be able to conduct extensive pricing research, negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage purchase orders and inventory, coordinate with freight vendors, and analyze vendor performance.

　　What will you do in this role?

　　Some key aspects of this job include:

　　Submit Request for Quotes to vendors and tracking vendor quotesCreate and process purchase orders, to include purchasing, receiving and invoice approvalRun purchase advice reports for weekly stock ordersRun inventory reports and adjudicating deficiencies for Annual Inventory Audit, monthly inventory reports, and cycle countsEvaluate freight quotes (and customs quotes, where applicable) for purchase orders and sales ordersReview and approve freight/customs vendor invoicesWork with customs brokers, to include providing, filling out, or correcting relevant customs paperwork (imports and exports)Skills and Experience you bring to the table:

　　2+ years of related purchasing experience; prior maritime industry experience a plusDemonstrated ability to develop systems, process and metrics and consistently improve upon themStrong computer/technical skills including MS OfficeKnowledge of a maritime industry needs is beneficialProven ability to work well with others. Ability to utilize critical thinking and negotiation skills to establish relationships and build trust with team members, vendors, and clients.Flexible, strategic collaborator with uncompromising integrity, ethical standards, and moral character with a strong work ethic and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.Physical Requirements
