The Americas Global Partner Solutions (GPS) is focused on building the most profitable and impactful partner ecosystem in the world. We help our partners build innovative technical solutions, develop their technical skills & abilities, and successfully sell & deploy with our joint customers.
We are looking for a Partner Technology Strategist (PTS) synthesizes and combines various business insights from their team, global best practices, proof points from experience with several countries and regions. Develops a perspective on market insights and uses broad expertise (e.g., level 100) related to customers/partners and their competitors to conduct forecasting and develop recommendations for managing accounts and subsidiary planning. Ensures that all levels of the organization challenge partners to consider alternatives and adapt strategies, plans, business models, and solutions to insights.
The PTS leads the orchestration of complex teams across the organization to gather information, collaborate on performance markers, and identify potential risks in partner accounts. Brings in business and industry insights to address the broader business challenges for the partner. Executes work against the overall business and technical strategy.
Role location is flexible, including hybrid work-from-home, and may require up to 15% domestic and international business travel.

Cloud Strategy Alignment
Serve as the technical owner of our partners' business solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to align their technology roadmap with Microsoft's cloud offerings. This includes understanding partners' business objectives, providing strategic guidance, and helping them leverage the full potential of the Microsoft cloud to achieve their goals.Cloud Transformation Leadership
Lead our partners through the complex process of cloud transformation, adopting a Technical Sales Challenger mindset to challenge conventional thinking. You will champion the adoption of cutting-edge cloud technologies, accelerate time to market, and identify new business opportunities that drive our partners' success.Innovation and Tech Intensity

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experienceo OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 3+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experienceo OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of related experience in technology IP solutions or services development, with a deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI and SaaS services.
Background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365).
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud architecture, migration, and optimization is highly desirable.Partner Technology Strategy IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
