Job Description:
Candidate will be our primary in-house accountant and will be responsible for the proper processing of all accounting transactions. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical, organizational, and communication skills to the position.
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with vendors, financial institutions, outside accounting professionals, and firm’s partners and personnel to complete accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Process payroll through ADP
Accumulate and review vendor bills for payment, accounting, processing, and preparation of payment in BillPay system
Review, classify, and report client disbursements
Preparation and accounting of deposits
Preparation of monthly budgets
Assign tasks to and assess work of assistant
Collaborate with firm's outside accountants to ensure proper preparation and payment of taxes
Preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Maintain escrow and IOLA updates and receipt and disbursement requests

Requirements - Highly organized and self-motivated
Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines5+ years of related experience- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
High attention to detail
Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Statement
Experience with Quickbooks Online
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Command of ADP - Payroll
Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
General familiarity with Expense Budget
Proven knowledge of Annual Budget
Well-founded grasp of billing
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
