TITLE: GENERAL MAINTENANCE REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE LEAD STATUS: HOURLY NON-EXEMPT PAY RANGE: $17 Purpose Clean the buildings, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wash windows, empty trash, etc. To perform routine maintenance duties including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility repairs. Requirements Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and to paint.Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Vision (with correction) sufficient for reading, performing repairs, and painting.Clean Driver’s License and their own vehicle. Duties and Responsibilities Clean the buildings; including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, clean the bathrooms, wash the windows, empty trash, etc.Take the courier bags to the branches and return them to the Main Office.Assist with repossessed vehicles; cleanings, signs, take it in for maintenance, etc. Performs simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods.Changes light bulbs may replace fixtures and does similar minor electrical tasks.Opens clogged drains, fix leaks, and perform other simple plumbing jobs.Painting as required.Snow shoveling when needed.Mows lawn removes weeds and brush, and other yard work.Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order and keeps maintenance room in neat condition.Must be able to perform tasks independently. Must have general knowledge of simple equipment used in the building trades.Confidentiality: ensure member information is secure. Perform other duties as assigned.
