　　Intertek is looking for a Part Time Adhoc Quality Inspector (Glass lined and Process Containment Equipment) for a project in Corpus Christi, TX. As a casual employee, you will not be working a regular schedule and instead will work on a project and/or on-call basis.

　　The Part Time Adhoc Quality Inspector (Glass lined and Process Containment Equipment) will ensure that the Project Quality Plan in conjunction with Project Execution Plan is developed and implemented. This role will promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of company business. 　　Duties:

　　Inspectors must have knowledge & experience with:

　　Glass-Lined Equipment (i.e. pressure vessels, tanks)

　　Fabrication process (i.e. welding, forming, heat treating, etc. for thermoplastic liners).

　　Non-destructive examination

　　Visual inspection – for lining quality/thickness

　　Design details - Verify design details as required by approved drawings and specifications

　　Dimensional inspection

　　Testing

　　Cleaning, painting

　　Final inspection

　　Shipping preparations

　　Qualifications

　　RT – II Certification:

　　Candidate received formal training in radiographic film interpretation

　　Candidate passed proficiency test for film interpretation and code interpretation

　　ASNT SNT-TC-1A certification as a Level II Radiographer (RT) or Radiographic Interpreter (RTFI) (or equivalents) satisfy DOW requirement

　　Certification:

　　A.P.I. 510, or

　　A.P.I. 570, or

　　AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)

　　Attach copy of education patents & certifications with submission.

　　5-10 years’ experience inspecting custom Glass-Lined equipment (PCE-pressure containment equipment, and piping)

　　Experience in quality control inspections and tests, including nondestructive testing techniques, mechanical testing, dimensional inspection, pressure testing and coating inspections

　　5+ years 3rd party vendor inspection, expediting or auditing

　　High School Diploma or GED + Trade School, On-The-Job Training or University Diploma

　　Valid Industry Certification preferred – Examples of such certifications include, but not limited to: AWS CWI, API 510, 570, SI, (Source Inspector), Electrical Journeyman License, NACE CIP 1, 2, 3, EMA (Expediting Management Association) Basic, Advanced, ASNT NDT Level II, III, and ASQ or IRCA Certified Auditor

　　Familiar with ASME X and RTP-1 fabrication and quality requirements

　　For the Process Containment Equipment (PCE) role, inspector must have experience in the following equipment:

　　Vessels (Drums, Reactors, Towers, Columns, etc.)

　　Heat Exchangers (Plate and Frame Exchanger, Carbon Block Heat Exchanger, Graphite Heat Exchanger)

　　Tanks

　　Strainers

　　Technical training in subjects, such as, but not limited to quality, NDT, blueprint reading, industry standards, auditing, expediting, materials, welding, coatings, electrical components, instrumentation, pressure testing, well control, equipment operation and assembly
