　　Mt. Clemens Montessori Academy seeks to hire a Paraprofessional *Part Time *7:00am - 1:00pm

　　Mt. Clemens Montessori Academy is a K-5 public charter school serving over 300 students.   The school also houses a Montessori Preschool Program for children 33 months-5 years of age enrolling 50 students. The school was founded in 1970 and has been named Charter "School of Excellence" by the State of Michigan based on state assessment scores.

　　The school's curriculum and philosophy are inspired by the educational thoughts and research of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school has consistent high student achievement, strong family involvement, and a sincere belief in the ability of each child to learn and excel. Teachers at MCMA have classroom assistants with them throughout the day, where students are encouraged to use the materials around them and engage with their peers in structured, but choice driven activities.
