　　Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergencyand scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, aswell as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organizationoperated for community benefit.

　　Our Paramedic team members are responsible for caring for patients inemergency response situations, during interfacility transports, andduring standby events. Paramedics at AMT work 12 hour shifts in thePeoria-Pekin-Chillicothe area. Shift bid is done twice annually.Full-time employees will typically work a 36 hour week and a 48 hourweek each pay period.

　　Job Duties:

　　Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care

　　Provide advanced life support when needed

　　Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniquesand equipment

　　Document patient information, condition, and treatment

　　Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect forpatient rights

　　Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures

　　Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment in accordance withcompany vehicle check-off sheets and inventory requirements.

　　Operate and drive an ambulance in conjunction with applicable safetypolicies and laws

　　Maintain current certification(s) according to provisions set forth bythe governing licensure

　　Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

　　Present and promote a positive company image
