Our client, a well-established and highly regarded boutique law firm, located in Morristown, New Jersey, is seeking a Paralegal to join its Trust Estates practice group. The T E group works with high net-worth clients and handles large, complex estates. The successful candidate will have 1+ years of estate administration experience, have strong attention to detail, and be highly organized.

Role: Trusts Estates Paralegal

Location: Morristown, NJ

Schedule: 9am - 5pm; Hybrid! 4 days in, 1 day remote

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 (wide range depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, filing, and processing of estate administration documents.

• Handle drafting and reviewing of legal documents such as wills, trusts, accountings, and inventories of assets.

• Ensure regular communication with clients to address their queries or concerns.

• Be responsible for managing NJ estate tax returns, including the completion of 709 and 706 tax forms.

• Keep a keen eye on details and maintain high organizational standards in a fast-paced work environment.

• Work closely with Partners, Attorneys, and support staff.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of Paralegal experience in Trust Estates

• Prior law firm experience required; NJ experience highly preferred.

• Proficient in Thomson Reuters or similar software.

• Ability to commute to Morristown, NJ 4 days a week.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills.
