Description

Robert Half is seeking a Paralegal with a focus on Family Law for a short term contract employment opportunity in Denver, Colorado with one of our clients. This role will be predominantly based on-site, providing critical support to a sole attorney. This position is central to the function of our team, requiring the processing of legal documents, managing calendars, and handling client communication.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting in-depth legal research and drafting briefs

• Managing the attorney's calendar and scheduling appointments

• Accurately processing customer credit applications and maintaining records

• Utilizing Case Management Software for effective organization and tracking

• Employing Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for various tasks

• Handling billing functions using CompuLaw

• Administering claims and ensuring they are handled appropriately

• Providing crucial support in civil litigation cases

• Writing motions for various legal proceedings

• Maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Paralegal field

• Experience in Family Law required

• Proficiency in Aderant software

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat

• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Experience with Case Management Software

• Familiarity and experience with CompuLaw

• Ability to perform billing functions

• Experience in briefing

• Proficient in calendar management

• Experience in claim administration

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience in Civil Litigation
