　　Slow down! Happiness is trying to catch you! Previous experience in a law firm that does commercial litigation work is required. Any exposure to construction litigation will be a plus! You will assist your attorneys in their Dallas, Austin, and Houston offices by drafting and filing pleadings in state and federal courts, prepare for hearings, mediations and depositions, liaise with courts regarding case information and scheduling. You will be called upon to prepare and attend trial while supporting your attorneys during trial using PowerPoint and other software programs. You will organize and manage commercial litigation files, monitor and maintain discovery materials for your attorney’s consideration. If you like variety, you will love this job! You will also get to do everything from researching projects utilizing your firm’s and outside resources, to preparing and revising drafts of common legal documents, to interacting with clients; to preparing your attorneys for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, and much more. A lot of your work will be Construction Litigation related. Excellent computer skills are a must to include experience with eDiscovery platforms. If you have at least 4 years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with eDiscovery experience, you must call about this position today. 　　Requirements

　　Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Litigation Paralegal is required

　　Must have experienced drafting and responding to discovery, motions, and subpoenas

　　Should be able to analyze pleadings, discovery responses and productions with attention to chronology and key evidentiary elements

　　Required to have experience preparing for and attending arbitration and jury trials

　　Research experience including Westlaw, Lexis, PACER and SOS

　　Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certification is needed

　　Excellent communication and written/drafting skills

　　Desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills while juggling client mattes and adhering to strict deadlines

　　Excellent computer skills—to include working with eDiscovery platforms.

　　Track record of expertise in Internet research and calendaring
