　　We are seeking a full-time Painter Assistant  to work under the direction of our lead painter.  They will assist with interior and exterior structures, buildings and other surfaces. They should have some experience sheet rocking, taping and painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. Must be reliable and possess great attention to detail in completing their duties.

　　Responsibilities

　　Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

　　Sheetrock installation taping and spackling

　　Repair cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)

　　Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture

　　Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools

　　Apply varnish and other finishes as required

　　Requirements and skills

　　Take and adhere to all health and safety requirements.

　　Some experience working with painting materials.

　　Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)

　　Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.

　　Conscientious with great attention to detail

　　Willing to work overtime as required.
