Your role: The PackagingOperator 1 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls will stage, fill(manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquidproducts per approved packaging specifications while utilizing allrequired safety equipment. The following tasks will be completed daily:* Complete appropriate packaging documentation perISOprocedures anddeliver products to inventory * Fill, cap and label chemical products* Follow all quality and safety procedures * Support quality systems* Ability to train others and work in a team setting * Days/hours:this is a 1st shift, 12 hour position on a 2-2-3 schedule: 6:00 AM -6:30 PM - 2/2/3 schedule (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off, W/R on,F/S/S off, repeat) Physical Attributes: * Wearing of appropriateprotective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits,gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment \"PPE\" toprotect from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids,solids, vapors or airborne particles * The work area may occasionallybe wet, humid abnormally hot or cold * Siting, standing, walking,reaching above the shoulder, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching orcrawling for long periods of time * Talking, hearing, tasting andsmelling * Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted andability to push and pull heavy materials to complete assignment; Maylift more poundage with assistance * Utilize vision, distance vision,color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjustfocus * Uses phones, computers, computer monitors andoffice/manufacturing equipment * Typing at a computer keyboard and havethe ability to read CRTs/computer monitors Who You Are: MinimumQualifications: * High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications:* 6+ months chemistry work experience * Read instructions andunderstand oral and written instructions * Basic math skills includingthe metric system * Learn SOP\'s/UOP\'s, cleaning protocols, work andconduct rules * Learn to use safety equipment. Learn to usesemi-automated equipment * Eye-hand coordination.
