　　Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:• Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university, or graduate program outside of New York State.• Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program) or be currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program.• Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent.• Must be able to work part-time Summer (10-15 hours per week).Preferred Qualifications:• Proficiency in MS Office products.• Desire to work in public service.• Preferred Major(s): Environmental Health and Safety or Physical TherapyPlease be advised that the New York State Insurance Fund does not offer sponsorship for employment visas to employees or potential employees. 　　Duties Description The Risk Control department is seeking Student Interns to assist with data analytics to include recap reporting, data pull, and preliminary analysis. Risk Control provides safety and loss prevention services for NYSIF policyholders to reduce the frequency and severity of workplace injuries. These include safety surveys, safety resources, safety training, compliance with Code Rules 59 & 60 and Safe Patient Handling. Departmental functions include:• Research of safety issues• Creation of presentations on safety issues• Administrative Tasks - data entry, spreadsheets etc.
