Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Package Designer in the Drink Beverages industry, located in Shakopee, Minnesota. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for creating and updating packaging designs for coffee products, including bags, boxes, and jars.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed packaging designs translating conceptual ideas, while considering printer specifications and general consumer packaged goods (CPG) packaging labeling requirements.

• Manage the overall packaging updates for a wide range of products, ensuring consistency and brand integrity.

• Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign to create compelling packaging designs.

• Apply your knowledge of printing processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to packaging production to optimize designs.

• Ensure all designs adhere to branding principles and effectively communicate to the consumer.

• Conduct thorough proofreading of text and artwork before final production to prevent errors.

• Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

• Demonstrated experience in Graphic Design, particularly in the Drinks Beverages industry.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Brand Awareness strategies.

• Previous experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is highly desirable.

• Expertise in Packaging Design, with a focus on innovative and engaging designs.

• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in all designs.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

• A portfolio showcasing previous work in package design, particularly within the Drinks Beverages industry. Innovation starts with people.®
