Minimum/Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree from accreditedcollege or university, preferably in Sport Administration, Business,Hospitality, or related field. Degree needs to be completed by date ofhire. Two (2) years of experience working within collegiate professionalsports or arena/stadium operations. Effective communication skills, bothwritten and spoken form. Ability to work with staff and students from avariety of diverse backgrounds. A demonstrable commitment to promotingand enhancing diversity. Position Duties 60% EVENT MANAGEMENT Generalevent management responsibilities as assigned by Assistant AthleticDirector for Facilities and Operations for sporting events and for otheron campus events. 20% FACILITIES MAINTENANCE Assists with the schedulingof regular maintenance protocols for assigned venues. 10% SUPERVISIONAND LEADERSHIP Provides supervision and leadership for studentemployees. 10% BUDGET OVERSIGHT Assists in budget development as well asoversight of assigned sports day to day activities for the facilitiesand event budgets.
