Senior Project Manager to CBRE Sweden
Do you have experience with Project Management and are you looking for an opportunity to be a part of a commercial environment in an international and fast-growing business? We are looking for an ambitious and independent Project Manager to join our Project Management team in Stockholm Maybe you’ve held several positions at Senior management level and are now looking for a position where you can use your many years of experience in project executions.
What will you be doing?
You will be part of a dynamic and committed team that deals with Project Management within commercial real estate and who plan and execute a full suite of customized services on our client’s behalf. All from managing and negotiating project costs and mitigating risk to accelerating project delivery and maximizing scheduling opportunities.
The Project Management team in Swedenhas a strong Nordic collaboration for us to form the best possible team for our clients.
Role Purpose
This role offers an opportunity to strengthen your Project Management experience and to broaden your skill base further into commercial property with exposure to clients and influencers alike. It sits within the CBRE Advisory, Nordic Project Management division and you will be providing project management services primarily to property investors, developer clients and occupiers.
You will be directly involved with the delivery of high-profile projects in the Nordic region, and you’ll be given full responsibility for your own projects. The role has a keen focus on technical proficiency with a view to grow commercial understanding across our focus sectors and will contribute to business development.
Your key responsibilities:
Take autonomy on projects in various sizes and complexity; provide Project Management delivery services to developers, institutional investors and occupiers on a broad range of projects.
Assist with and manage the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with CBRE company strategy, commitments and goals.
Manage internal and external project teams (consulting and contracting) in the successful delivery of all projects and lead the planning and implementation of projects.
Manage the client teams, design team, third parties and the project team generally.
Definition of delivery approaches, project scope, goals and deliverables.
Entire delivery life cycle and ensure clients expectations are fully met.
Definition of project tasks and resource requirements.
Development of project programmes and overall strategy plans.
Assembly and coordination of project team members as required to suit complexity of the project.
Monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
Participate in the management of project budgets and project changes.
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
Identify and deliver opportunities to cross sell other CBRE service lines and identify fee earning opportunities.
Contribute to and assist in the management of new business pipeline.
Provide efficient and timely support to other CBRE service lines.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
Who are you?
Experience
10+ years within Project Management in the real estate industry working with high profile clients within logistics, hotels & hospitality, retail, corporate office or residential.
Vast experience in working on different sides in the project delivery cycle, client advisor, Client, Technical advisor, Contractor.
Experience in PMO/project management/ contract administration roles in real estate or Property.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical application of project management (e.g. Prince2).
Demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills/ ability.
Able to form strong and productive relationships at all levels.
Having worked in an international environment and performed projects across regions and boarders.
Strong network within the real estate sector in the Nordic region.
Long and diverse life experience which gives you the ability to prioritize and understand what is important when a project gets hectic.
