Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience in a commercial foodservice facility; OR an Associate\'s Degree in Food Service Management.Additional Required Qualifications ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of retail food service and experience operating commercialfood service equipment. Experience in food service safety and sanitationprocess and procedures. Good customer services skills when working withinternal and external customers. Ability to respond positively tochanging work demands as well as the ability to work cooperatively andpositively with a variety of individuals. Strong communication skillsincluding the ability to understand and convey written and verbaldirections/instructions, recipes, safety information, machineinstructions, and other communications. Requires a valid Food Handler\'scertificate within 30 days of employment. Must maintain certificationthroughout employment with UHDS. Position Duties 50% SERVE INTERNAL ANDEXTERNAL CUSTOMERS IN A PROMPT, COURTEOUS MANNER. Greet customers with asmile and make eye contact. Serve customers in a timely fashion, (2-5minutes,) promote sales, and maintain a positive attitude. 15% MAINTAINESTABLISHED HIGH STANDARDS OF SERVICE, QUALITY AND COST AWARENESS.Properly care for equipment. Advise supervisor when repairs becomenecessary. 15% PERFORM LEAD WORK DUTIES. Train student employees,utilizing guidelines and standards. 10% MAINTAIN A CLEAN, SANITARYOPERATION BY PERFORMING ESTABLISHED CLEANING DUTIES FOLLOWING ALL HEALTHDEPARTMENT GUIDELINES FOR SAFE FOOD HANDLING PROCEDURES. Prepare propersanitation solution and change out every two hours, or more often ifneeded.
