　　Job Summary

　　The role of a SHARE Market Associate is to assist in the daily operation of the SHARE Market as it exists to aid in student success and the destigmatization of what a food pantry is. While a SHARE Market Associate will always have an assigned task for their given shift, flexibility is needed. The SHARE Market Associate must work no more than 20 hours per week.

　　Daily duties may include:

　　Receiving food and basic hygiene items, organizing and distributing food items to proper shelving or storage. Please note that there may be required lifting of 30-50 lbs.

　　Restocking the SHARE Market as needed, while being mindful of shelf rotation according to best by dates.

　　Maintaining a clean and safe SHARE Market/workspace – breaking down cardboard boxes, disposing of discarded material in the appropriate bin, sweep or wipe areas if a spill occurs.

　　Processing and confirming online pick-up orders in conjunction with supervisor.

　　Checking-in and welcoming students that stop by to shop or pick-up an online pick-up order.

　　Engaging with students in a friendly and outgoing manner at pop-up events around campus, which can include tabling, promoting future pop-ups and answering questions.

　　Required Qualification(s)

　　Required Qualification:

　　-Must be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester.

　　-Attach an availability schedule with application.

　　-Must maintain a “C average” (2.0 GPA ) in college credit courses.

　　-Dedicated hard worker with excellent communications skills, overall computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Forms), the ability to make friendly conversation with students at pop-up events, and answer questions in the SHARE Market.

　　Desired Qualification(s)

　　Experience in retail or customer service.

　　Strong initiative to take on a project and work within a team.

　　Bilingual or multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

　　Hours will vary, and dependent on programs, initiatives, and need. Open to any hours between 10am to 3pm Monday – Friday.
