We are seeking a highly experienced Animal Care Professional to join our leadership team as an Overnight Kennel Supervisor who will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded pets while providing leadership and direction to our animal care team. The shift hours are 10pm-6am, 5 days a week including weekends and holidays.

　　The Overnight Kennel Supervisor is responsible for training staff as well as being responsible for monitoring the well-being of all pets in their care, ensuring adequate record keeping and monitoring of feeding schedules and medication administration is done in conjunction with hotel leadership team.

　　The Overnight Kennel Supervisor will ensure that laundry, suite cleaning, pet guest activities, and other tasks are completed in a timely basis.

　　Minimum Requirements

　　• Prior Animal Care Experience

　　• Knowledge of dog and cat body language and behavior

　　• General animal care and handling experience

　　• You are required to ensure staff receives information from the previous shift and then communicate information to the next shift

　　• You must be able to communicate well across different departments, with the hotel staff, and with clients. Communication is in-person, by phone, through client file notes, and via e-mail and text-message

　　• Assign overnight duties to animal care team

　　• Oversee team to ensure they stay on task

　　• Handling dogs with special needs

　　• Administer medications

　　• Cleaning cages

　　• Feeding and caring for dogs, cats and some exotic pets

　　• Walking dogs

　　• Doing laundry

　　• Cleaning and maintaining hotel premises

　　• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook, as well as basic typing skills is required.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• 2+ years Veterinary or Boarding Facility experience.

　　• 2+ years Supervisory experience in an animal-related field.

　　• Open availability

　　Required experience

　　• 6 months to one year of Supervisory experience.

　　• 1+ year of Veterinary Assistant/ Technician Experience OR 2+ years Boarding Facility/ Kennel Experience.
