In this role you will be responsible for work relating to the repair, inspection, and maintenance of commercial customer vehicles in an outdoor environment. Unlike other tire companies that keep you in the slow lane, Pomp's recognizes the value in individual career advancement and wants to accelerate your skills!Pomp's Employees earn an industry competitive wage and are provided access to a trailer-full of benefit privileges, such as: a robust healthcare plan at affordable rates, company matched 401K, discounts on company products, and day-one available paid time off.Job Responsibilities:Respond to roadside service calls to have tires changedMounting/dismounting and replacing tires on commercial vehicles on the roadInspect tires and vehicles for additional problemsMaintain clean work environment and equipmentWork independently in all weather conditions to service commercial vehicles as neededAdditional tasks as assignedJob Requirements:Driver's License Required, with ability to pass pre-employment driver's file and DOT physicalAbility to work during night shifts, and overtime with minimal supervisionCommercial vehicle skills and general mechanical experience preferredAbility to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road and in all weather conditions.Ability to work non-standard hoursHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAbility to lift, carry or move a maximum of 150 pounds with frequent pushing/pulling of 50 poundsYou wouldn't stop at a green light, so don't let your career become caught in a roadblock.
