**Position Summary
**Big Bend Community College, a rural college serving vibrant, culturally rich communities in the Columbia Basin of Central Washington, invites applications for an Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator in the college's Outreach Department. There are three (3) positions available. All of these positions are full-time, overtime eligible and are funded through a combination of grants and contracts.
The Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator works with other Big Bend Community College (BBCC) staff to lead the development and implementation of outreach and recruitment across the entire BBCC service district. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and will be prepared to support their work by maintaining a flexible schedule to include the potential for evening and weekend events as well as travel throughout the service district.

Essential Job Duties
*PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: *
Primary essential duties and responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following:
In collaboration with other campus departments and the Dean of Student Services identify departmental and program outreach and recruitment needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate a culturally appropriate student recruitment and outreach program, with particular attention to communities of color, students with disabilities, and low-income communities.
Recruit students from high schools and communities within the college's service district. This includes making regular visits to high schools and communities in the BBCC service district to meet with potential students.
Make outreach and recruitment presentations to high school students and other potential student groups in the community to help them understand educational opportunities available at BBCC.
Explain and guide potential students and their family members through the college's new-student intake process including admission application, placement, navigating financial aid applications, and completing the new student orientation.
Follow-up with prospective students and others who express interest in learning more about BBCC programs and offerings
Connect incoming students with student sup
