The hotel features our Fitness Centre, 272 seat all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop bar with panoramic views of Darling Harbour and 3,700 square meters of new state-of-the-art meeting facilities.The hotel offers various kitchens that complement our multiple outlets including Banquets, In-Room Dining, Restaurant and Pastry. The Role:
The ideal candidate in this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a commitment to company values.
Further develop a culture of quality through training, leadership and presence
Uphold BOH, FOH and hotel systems and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
Enforce a high standard of grooming and presentation
Maximise profitability of the bar through analysis of costs and sales mix
Interview, hire, schedule and train bar staff
Interact with guests to develop loyalty and exercise great customer relations
Work with liquor vendors to develop new productions and promotions for the bar
This role requires the availability to work late evenings, weekdays, weekend and public holidays.
About you:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a restaurant manager/assistant manager
· Outstanding technical wine, cocktail, spirit and food knowledge
Exposure to rostering and people development
Previous experience with beverage menu development including costing and stock control
A naturally friendly and engaging personality with great leadership and communication skills
High standard of grooming and presentation
A positive and respectful style that will set the benchmark for a dynamic team
Financial expertise including wage and front of house costings/budgets
Current NSW RSA Certificate
