Overview

Provides assistance to the orthodontist in direct patient care activities, maintains a clean working environment, sterilizes instruments and manages dental and orthodontic supplies and materials needed in the day to day operations of the orthodontic clinic.

Responsibilities

Obtaining impressions, removal of orthodontic bands and bonds, placement and cementation of orthodontic brackets and/or bands.

Has equipment sterilized after use, supply inventory and a clean and functioning work environment.

Maintains appointment schedules and patient communication

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience

Work experience as a dental assistant, 2+ years orthodontic experience.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.54/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
