The Cardiac and Vascular Group brings all of our cardiac and vascular businesses together into one cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the needs of customers and patients across the globe.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Provides technical injection molding support to new projects and sustaining.

Recommends and implements injection molding and auxiliary equipment for new projects.

Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.

Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.

May develop and conduct statistical analysis or recommend additions to document work.

Leads the innovation, development and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures for transfer to manufacturing operations.

Works with Senior level injection molding engineers to assist on new project process development and injection mold tooling development.

Develops injection molding processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques including the measurement systems.

Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Provide direction for Molding Technicians on project and daily tasks.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree required

Nice to Have

Experience with designing or manufacturing disposable medical devices

Experience with polymer processing

Experience with process qualification / validation

Experience working in a medical device company quality system
