DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis is a 12-month training-program designed to develop the following Organization Management competencies: determining the most appropriate job classification of filled and vacant positions, evaluating temporary working out-of-classification and change supervisor requests, analyzing agency reorganization requests, and providing position description consultative support and related organization management services. The selected candidate will participate in training-level assignments to review position and organization information, conduct research, interview employees and supervisors, and prepare detailed analysis reports that include classification and pay determinations. Additionally, with guidance from supervisors and/or higher-level analysts, you will learn to evaluate programs and operations in assigned state agencies to identify organization management needs and explore options with and deliver solutions to customers. Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.Work schedule is negotiable within the organization's business hours.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week telework, 2 days a week in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:A bachelor's degree, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
