　　Job Overview

　　This is a role within the distribution center of Simon & Schuster, a 100-year-old company with offices around the world, that is also the only US owned book publishing house. For this role we are seeking experience warehouse personnel and certifiable Cherry Picker Operator.

　　What you will be doing on a daily basis

　　Pick replenishment for Full Case using a Cherry Picker throughout our warehouse.

　　Storing products back to stock using Cherry Picker.

　　Use the RF device to locate product and to confirm task.

　　This is a fast-paced environment, and you will be responsible for meeting quotas and maintaining productivity standards. You will also need to adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety rules.

　　Some requirements:

　　Understanding and willingness to train on equipment such as Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Forklifts, and Electric Pallet Jacks.

　　Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner.

　　Ability to handle 50+ pounds and work at heights of up to 25+ feet.

　　You must have careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.

　　Some analytical experience is preferable.

　　You must have the ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day

　　Shift and Schedule:

　　Our distribution facility operates in 3 shifts and this particular role is part of the afternoon shift, workingMonday- Friday (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
