The Warehouse TeamMember performs a variety of functions that may include receiving andprocessing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock,stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. Warehouse TeamMembers are active throughout their day working independently using avoice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozenproducts in a multi-temperature foodservice warehouse environment usingpowered material handling equipment. Position Responsibilities mayinclude, but not limited to: Safely and accurately select customerorders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivityand accuracy. Hand stack cases of product weighing up to 50 poundsrepetitively from floor to over-head Shrink wrap orders with label andmove completed order to the loading dock area using electronic palletjack or walkie-rider equipment. Move products from racks to palletsdirected by order selecting software and equipment. Validate thatcorrect product has been selected and is damage free. Accurately receiveinbound products and replenish inventory as needed. Perform pre-shiftequipment checks and safely operate material handling equipment (palletjack/forklift) Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean andsafe environment; clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets fromslots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area. Observe allsafety policies and procedures. Other projects or duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 18 Years of age. Must be ableto work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required. This position mustpass a post offer background and drug test. Candidate must be able tolift at least 50 lbs frequently and consistently throughout the shift.Candidate must be available to work any shift including days, nights andweekend, OT, Holidays Candidate MUST be comfortable with working in amulti-temp environment, specifically a freezer environment with norestrictions. Preferred Skills and Experience: 6 months of relatedexperience in high endurance or highly physical activity or rolepreferred within the past year. e.g. lifting/transferring patients,sports/fitness, farming, construction work, landscaping, etc.Foodservice distribution a plus Experience operating MHE (MaterialHandling Equipment), such as an electric pallet jack High school diplomaor GED equivalent. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Frequentlybend, stoop, crouch, reach, stand and walk on feet for shifts rangingfrom 8-10 hours. Frequently lift and/or move cases. Repetitive liftingincluding bulk cases averaging 20lbs and weighing up to 80 lbs Must becomfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -10degrees to over 100 degrees required.
