Order Management Specialist

St. Charles, MO

The Order Management Specialist is directly responsible for the successful generation, fulfillment, and delivery of customer purchase orders. This includes the coordination, execution, problem resolution, a nalysis and communication necessary to ensure an excellent customer experience. The Order

Management Specialist is a main point of contact for all items related to Order Management, or Mars Affiliate, and key Mars' functions to ensure timely delivery of customer orders

What are we looking for?

Minimum

Bachelor's degree3-5 years experience in a customer facing roleProficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel skillsPreferred

Bachelor's degree in BusinessExperience with Power BIExperience utilizing SalesforceWhat will be your key responsibilities?

Management of all customer orders, domestic or Mars Affiliate, from receipt through the delivery to

customer warehouse and distribution centers, ensuring high level of customer service

Process owner with Order Management Manager to ensure customer orders are processed and

scheduled to meet allocation requirements.

Ownership of load tracking and issue resolution from origin shipping location to customer destination.Resolution of OSandD claims from customerSupport Invoice collection to help ensure timely issue resolution and keeping aged invoices below 30

days.

Ensure on-time delivery of all non-replenishment orders (i.e., displays, etc.) against critical customer

timelines.

Responsible for order entry accuracy, including ensure the right products are ordered, the correct

method and location of shipment are applied to the order, and adequate lead time is given to ensure

on-time delivery to the customer.

Monitor and report baseline KPIs through weekly/monthly account meetings and recapsProactively inform customers and sales teams on product shortages and recovery dates on a weekly

basis

Active participation and leadership in CMOS meetings.Special projects or problem-solving initiatives as assignedWhat can you expect from Mars?
